The first thing to control is fear. This usually feeds a negative situation, so a strategy that avoids it needs to be adopted. This may be hard at first, but with practise will get easier. Negative energies exert a greater degree of control over a situation through fear - to know this empowers you. The best way to overcome fear is generate love, through a compassionate understanding of the situation. Any entity or energy that is generating fear, is doing so in the mistaken belief that it is an appropriate way to act. You know this to be different. In fact, you realise this through your observation of events. You become the observer, an expanded consciousness, and from this position can be compassionate of the ignorance of the entity/energy. You will find this empowering.
Another simple way to achieve this, is to place both hands on your heart and send out a compassionate thought of love.
Placing your hands strategically on your body can also be useful in cases where individuals are 'throwing off' psychic energy, or where upper chakras have become overly stimulated...
The human body is fed not only by water and food, but also universal energy which also know by the names of Prana, Chi or Ki. This energy is around us all of the time, and is regulated in the body by energy centres know as chakras. We all have hundreds of them, but there are seven major chakras that yogis, healers, therapists and energy workers concern themselves with. They are the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, brow and crown chakras.
Sometimes to cover the solar plexus with the hands can interrupt an energetic link between the individual and the 'astral' level. High levels of external consciousness typically link through higher chakra - specifically the brow and crown, so you may find it beneficial to momentarily rest you hands in these positions.
When excess energy is being emitted by an individual, it very often affects electrical objects, mainly because in some respects electricity appears to interact with 'psychic' energy. The results may give the impression of an external influence, but could be solely due to an individual that is not grounded. The sort of phenomenon that can manifest range from watches and clocks stopping, lights turning on or off, radios and kettles turning on or other items working with out batteries. By using one of the techniques below you will be able to manage this type of situation.
Grounding Techniques
Here are a variety of techniques that you may find useful:
•Stand or sit in a relaxed position, and with your back straight. Close your eyes, and focus upon a point at the centre of your being. As you breathe in, pull in pure Prana (Chi, Ki) from the sky above you down through the top of your head, feeling it drawn right into the centre of your being. On the out breathe, exhale down from the centre of your being, and feel the exhalation pass down through your abdomen and legs, through your feet, and deep into the ground below. Now repeat this exercise but drawing the prana from the ground to your centre, and exhaling out through your upper body and head into the sky above. Continue to breathe like this for 5 minutes.
•Take off your socks and shoes, and stand feeling your connection with the ground beneath you. Place your awareness into your feet. You may feel that you want to grind them into the ground, or stamp them. Do whatever feels right for you.
•Eat and drink. These are basic fundamental needs for the physical vehical of the human body, and are functions of the root chakra, fundamental to grounding.
•A method that can be employed, especially to help other if they are panicked, is to wash the hands and wrists under cold water.
Protection
Protection covers a variety of techniques that can shield you from external influences.
Listed here are a variety of techniques that can be used:
•Surround yourself in a protective sphere. Visualise this around your physical body, and extending slightly beyond. It can be any colour that you choose, white, silver, gold, blue and purple are all popular.
•Place yourself into a protective pyramid. Become aware of its protective presence around, above and below you.
•Form a pin-point of light in our heart, and expand this light through every cell of your physical being and beyond so that it forms a sphere. Then place a three dimensional equi-distant cross into the centre of the sphere, so that it spans the entirity of the sphere. This is a good technique, as you will have to focus on balancing the three axis at your centre, which has the effect of balancing you.
•Summon divine assistance, and be focused with your intent.
Disconnection Exercise
Despite all of the above, there are a very small number of occasions, when additional help may be required. The disconnection exercise below is particular useful when you are being drained of energy, either knowing or unknowingly, and is also excellent against curses.
To maximise the effect, read it three times in succession with intent. Do this on rising in the morning, and before retiring at night. I recommend this done for a period of 21 days.
I disconnect from all cordings, bindings, imprints, overlaps and possession,
that do not serve my highest purpose at this time.
I DISCONNECT NOW.
I reclaim all my personal power from all times and all dimensions,
that will serve my highest purpose at this time.
I RECLAIM IT NOW.
I decree in the name of GOD that any of my power and abilities
that have been stolen and copied are returned to me NOW,
and that all copies be destroyed.
I DECREE THIS HAPPENS NOW.
Sieving Exercise
This exercise is particulary useful for clearing energy, is easy to do, and is used by many healers as part of their routine psychic cleansing procedure. It was taught to me by my friend Tony Neate, who is currently the Chair of the Spirit Release Foundation (SRF). There are variations on a theme, and this is the way that I like to use it.
Close your eyes, and become aware of a large sieve above your head. It is large enough to pass through your physical body and your energy bodies beyond it. This sieve has large holes, and collects large, denser energies. Start to bring the sieve down through your body. Be positive about this, and if you become aware of resistance against it, focus your energy and intent to move past the resistance. Do this through your entire body, and as the sieve leaves your feet, take it down into the earth, deep down, right to the fire in the core, where the collected energies will be transformed. Repeat this procedure a second time using a sieve with small holes, which collects unwanted energies that are less dense. The third and final time, use a sieve that is like a coffee filter, with micro-holes. When you have completed three sievings, protect and ground yourself.
